PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS

Day to day management of all onsite construction activities on a given project in accordance with the contract requirements and work plan.
Ensures that all OSHA safety regulations are met and enforced; bottom line responsibility for safety on site.
Develops JSA’s, holds safety meetings and provides safety training as needed.
Implements the construction plan and follows the budget developed by the project team.
Overall supervision of local craft labor.

Subcontracts Claims Manager

SUBCONTRACTS CLAIMS MANAGER required by our Client, an construction company, to be hired on a full-time basis, located in Norfolk, VA.

PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS

Develop HRCP’s subcontractor management plan. Promote good contracting practices, and train the construction team.
Maintain constant communication with the construction team, attend meetings as needed to acquire the necessary level of understanding of commercial issues.
Help enforce the terms and conditions of the subcontracts and the Prime Contract. Help in the resolution of commercial issues with subcontractors. Review draft correspondences from construction team. Review subcontractor’s requests for contract adjustments.
Monitor flow of formal correspondences between HRCP and subcontractors and ensure that timely responses are provided.

MEP Senior Engineer

SENIOR MEP PROJECT ENGINEER required by our Client, an construction company, to be hired on a full-time basis, located in Houston, TX

Duration: Permanent

PRINCIPAL REQUIREMENTS

Manage a team and organize the work to deliver on time and with quality.
Select and approve any Sub / consultant / peer reviewer for permanent works and temporary work.
Coordination with the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Communication, ITS, SCADA Controls.
Works closely with the Commissioning Manager to define all the specifications in advance and the associated test.
Ensure the full integration of the different discipline of the designer is done correctly.
Define all the temporary works they would require, and coordinate with Sr Methods Manager the detailed definition and design.
Integrate Quality and Safety in all the process of design.

 

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

10 years’ experience as an Engineer in MEP
10 years’ Tunnel Experience is required
