The nature of this job function is Quality Engineering Technology driven which comprises product safety, environment, quality & engineering safety, this as well includes the planning, setting up and reviewing of processes relevant for the manufacturing, shipping, installation and completion of an offshore wind-farm. A leading engineering client is looking for a CAD engineer to be responsible for the production of engineering drawings for tunnels and civil structural work on a large infrastructure project. 

Roles and Repsponsibilities

Ability to read and determine information from drawings, schedules and specifications
Preparation of drawings from Engineers sketches, using CAD software
Interrogation of CAD and BIM models
Production of schedules, sucha as concrete reinforcement
Take-off of quantities
Understanding what BIM is.
