A senior electrical engineer is required by an established oil and gas company in Singapore.

 

Role/ Responsibilities

 

Understands the specific technical requirements of the relevant project through construction, commissioning, and start-up phases
Understand and implement Industry Standard, Classification Society and Regulatory requirements.
Plans and directs the running of application software and reviews and approves the datasheets deliverables prepared by Engineers.
Support the team to develop engineering specifications (drawings, data sheets, etc.) specific to the assigned project, reviews them and validates with the Project Manager and client
Independently evaluates all the bids received for Electrical packages from various suppliers, performs a technical bid evaluation process, involved in cost estimation

POSITION SCOPE

Manage the design, implementation, and operations of energy control system projects. Responsible for the development of conceptual control solution designs for low and medium voltage generation and distribution systems, preparation of technical specifications, coordination of detail design with contractors and design consultants, review of detail design documents, and ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and applicable design criteria. Serve as field engineer to implement solutions and provide post-installation support to clients.

A leading engineering client is looking for a CAD engineer to be responsible for the production of engineering drawings for tunnels and civil structural work on a large infrastructure project. 

Roles and Repsponsibilities

Ability to read and determine information from drawings, schedules and specifications
Preparation of drawings from Engineers sketches, using CAD software
Interrogation of CAD and BIM models
Production of schedules, sucha as concrete reinforcement
Take-off of quantities
Understanding what BIM is.
